Get On A Roll
By Diane Skullr | Thursday April 18, 2014
Every few years the California Staffing Professionals Association (CSP) holds the annual Staffing & Recruiting Conference outside of California to create and build a strong relationship, collaboration and a trusting environment with other staffing professionals and associations in other states. What better location than Las Vegas?
The 2014 Annual Staffing & Recruiting Conference will be held June 11- June 14 at The M Resort in Las Vegas
Why should you come?
The oft used answer is to come for the Education and the Networking. That certainly is a conference goal. However, combine that with an element of fun and motivation for a winning combination. This is your best opportunity to mingle with the successful people and party with the stars of your industry. Learn from them, get to know them, find mentors and friends.
The conference starts off with the Welcome Reception and Booth Crawl on Wednesday evening. Networking is always a key take-away from these events. Come have a drink with your peers and socialize with your industry exhibitors. Throughout the event you will be meeting and getting to know some of the best minds in the industry.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of outstanding programs and speakers. Comelearn from and be inspired by the 4 keynote presentations including Dan Lier on Maximizing Your True Potential. Dan is ranked as the #1 Las Vegas Motivational Speaker.
We will also have Eric Gregg, CEO of Inavero, who will give us insight to what clients and candidates think of the staffing world in his keynote address, Who You are Now and Who Do You Want to Be.
Jay Prag a Drucker School of Management Professor and dynamic speaker, brings us the Economic Outlook keynote titled Work, Passion, and Corporate Culture: The Calculus of Job Placement.
And closing the event is Barb Bruno, one of the top trainers in our industry. She’ll help you to put it all into practice, to use what you’ve learned in her presentation, Get on a Roll – Guaranteed to Increased Sales and Profits!!!
We have 3 all day workshops on Thursday, tailored for owners and managers, recruiters and sales professionals.
Mike Neidle – “How to Maximize the Growth and Value of Your Company”
Scott Wintrip – “Open More Doors, Close More Deals”
Greg Doershing – “2 Day Recruiter Retreat”
The Recruiter Retreat was formerly known as the Rookie Retreat but so many of the past attendees were established recruiters who attended for the refresher and to learn new trends and hear new ideas. Add this optional workshop to your conference experience or just send your rookies for a comprehensive training.
Other presentation topics for both staffing and executive search recruiters on Friday and Saturday include:
Find Your Recruiting Rhythm - led by Mike Lejeune
Sourcing Success and the Forgotten Freeway: One Best Practice to Maximize Your ROI - led by Conni LaDouceur
The Research Experiment: 2 Years into my Journey, led by David Fishman
Staffing and Recruiting 2014 – led by Dan Campbell
AND SO MUCH MORE!!!!
In addition to this great line-up of educational programs, the conference includes an Owner/Manager Golf Tournament at the Revere Golf Course on June 11th. Space is limited so if you want to play, register quickly. This golf event is complimentary to all owners and managers who are registered for the two day conference (both Friday and Saturday).
California conferences are famous for the Friday evening Gala and Awards Dinner. This year, it’s on Friday the 13th. In Vegas, is that good luck? This is a great time to unwind, have fun and build meaningful friendships - relationships that will last forever.
Are you ready to register? You can get full details and information on our website at www.cspnet.org under the Upcoming Events tab.
We look forward to seeing you in June.
